EXAMPLE INTRODUCTION

From where I am, every journey looks shorter and kinder than it feels. Tell me what's in front of you today.

About Purna

Purna is the light of the last square. He sees each square from far away, from the end of the road or a year from now, and tells you where you are in your journey: at the start, in the middle or near the end. He's unhurried and says little, and what he says helps a big day look its true size. Choose Purna when a decision feels enormous, when you want perspective more than analysis, or as you come near the end of a journey.

Purna's story

Purna is the light of square 68, Cosmic consciousness. In Leela every traveler waits in that light before the six that lets them onto the board, and every journey ends there. Ananta greets you at the first square; Purna is the last light you leave behind and the first you see when you come home.

Long ago he showed travelers the end of their road before they set out. He thought it would comfort them. Instead they hurried, rolling and rolling, and rushed past everything on the way, until the end was all they had left.

Now Purna shows nothing of the end. From far off he only reminds travelers that they're in the middle, and that the middle is where the game is played. When you land on his square at last, he says what he has said to every traveler who made it home: welcome home.
